1. Platform Content

The Surplus-GY platform itself, including its software, design, layout, logos, icons, graphics and written content produced by us, is the property of Surplus-GY or its licensors, and is protected by copyright, trade mark and other intellectual property laws.

 

2. Vendor and User Content

Surplus-GY is a multi-vendor marketplace. Product images, descriptions, brand names and logos supplied by sellers remain the property of those sellers or their licensors. Reviews, photographs and other material submitted by shoppers remain the property of the person who submitted them.

By listing or submitting content on the platform, you confirm that you own it or have permission to use it, and you grant Surplus-GY a non-exclusive licence to host, display and promote that content in connection with the platform.

 

3. Permitted Use

You may view and use the platform for the purpose of buying, selling or managing your own account.

No part of this platform may be reproduced, distributed, modified, republished or transmitted in any form or by any means without the prior written permission of the rights holder. Unauthorised use of content on the Surplus-GY platform may breach copyright, trade mark and other laws.

 

4. Reporting Copyright Infringement

Surplus-GY respects the intellectual property rights of others, including those of the sellers and shoppers who use the platform. If you believe your work has been used on the platform in a way that infringes your copyright, notify us in writing.

To help us act quickly, please include:

• Your name and contact details
• A description of the work you say has been infringed
• The web address of the listing, image or page in question
• A statement that you believe the use is not authorised by the rights holder or the law
• A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorised to act for them

We will review the notice and may remove or disable access to the material while we do so. Where content is removed, we will inform the seller or user who posted it, and they may respond.

 

 

5. Repeat Infringement

Accounts that repeatedly infringe the intellectual property rights of others may be suspended or closed.
